Description

Responsibilities Include:

Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint;
Plan jobs and prepares for work in an efficient manner including:
Preparation of the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic
Moving furniture and obstacles as necessary
Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers
Taping off areas as needed
Cleaning up supplies, putting furniture and fixtures back in place, cleanup of the area;
Complete work orders as assigned through the Work Order system;
Safely operate and maintain power tools;
Monitor inventory of supplies/tools/equipment;
May require time commitments outside normal hours of work to accomplish duties during periods of heavy work requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

High School or equivalent;
2 years relevant working experience (asset) trade or journeyman level;
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and satisfactory driver's abstract;
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and clear Vulnerable Sector Search;
Ability to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl;
Ability to stand or walk all day;
Additional physical requirements will include frequent lifting and/or moving up to up 50 kilograms;
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to provide 3 references. At least 2 of the 3 references must be from previous supervisors at previous place(s) of employment.
