Job Description:


As an Electromechanical Technician and Assembler at Angor Material Handling / Intools, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and testing of our Conveyor and Material Handling Systems.

Working in a collaborative team environment, you will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that our systems are assembled to the highest standards of quality, functionality, and efficiency.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform assembly, installation, and wiring of electromechanical components and subassemblies for Conveyor and Material Handling Systems
  • Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate and precise assembly
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Assist in the fabrication and modification of mechanical components as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and any modifications made
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions and actively participating in problemsolving activities

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in electromechanical technology is preferred
  • Proven experience in electromechanical assembly and testing, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of machinery, conveyor systems and material handling equipment is a plus

Salary:
From $20.00 per hour
