The Data and Communications Coordinator is someone who's passionate about systems and organization.
They're someone who takes initiative and uses their creativity and technical skills to set up a contact relationship management (CRM) system that is user-friendly and will enhance the experience of our external contacts who are managed through the system.
The Coordinator understands the importance of how good clean data and tidy archives can benefit an organization.
The Coordinator is mainly responsible for the transition into the new CRM system, and aligning those tasks with communications and promotional efforts.
The Coordinator is technologically savvy and enjoys learning, integrating and optimizing software. They have an eye for design, are a strong communicator, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Data Management
- Major Project: Assist in transitioning Still Moon to a new CRM, DonorPerfect.
Including and not limited to:
collect, organize and input data into the system, ensure consistency and clarity, merge duplicates, etc.
- Collaborate with the full Still Moon team to ensure all contacts are transitioned into DonorPerfect.
- Restructure Stil Moon's photo archives
- File photos into photo archive structure
- Name and pick highlight photos
- Support photo documentation on Still Moon website, as time permits
- Suggest improvements to current systems, as requested
Communications and Marketing
- Support in producing communications automations within DonorPerfect.
- Support in creating promotional content
- Support with Still Moon's marketing communications (Newsletter/Social Media)
- Support media projects relating to Still Moon's programs
- Support with website optimisation
- Attend weekly staff and communications meetings
Qualifications
- Administration and communications experience
- Experience using databases
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and aesthetic
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative; proactive and assertive
- Good research and problemsolving skills
- Competent in learning software: Asana Project Management, DonorPerfect, Constant Contact, G-Suite, WordPress, Divi
- Personable and able to work in a team environment
- Values art, community and environmental stewardship
- Administrative/ systems development work, an asset
- Knowledge and experience with graphic design, photography, videography, video editing, an asset
- Postsecondary studies or coop program in business management, communications, marketing, nonprofit management or a related field, an asset
- Experience using DonorPerfect or another contact management system, Asana, Constant Contact, G-Suite, WordPress, Zoom, Divi, an asset
This position is funded by Canada Summer Jobs. To be eligible, youth must
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment*;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment**; and,
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

Remote or Hybrid. The in-person component would be in the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood, Vancouver
