As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a
Customer Service Representative (Transload Division) who will be responsible for coordinating ocean import containers and accurate data processing and shipping of incoming and outgoing transload shipments.

This role reports to the Transload Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire transloading process to ensure all shipments are complete and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A SUFFERANCE WAREHOUSE WITH THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF CBSA RULES & REGULATIONS AND BONDED FREIGHT IS MANDATORY


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the accurate and efficient process of data entry, load planning, coordinating transload shipments.
  • Creating freight bills & offload manifests
  • Monitoring inbound overseas containers/shipments via ports online portal.
  • Scanning and uploading paperwork into our inhouse system.
  • Maintaining forms & excel reports for regular clients and Operations team.
  • Manage customers' accounts and keep them posted with all required updates.
  • Obtain, evaluate, and handle all relevant information to resolve inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments including customer service and intermodal for smooth operations.
  • Follow up with customers on current/pending/future orders.
  • Prepare consolidated report and manifests & file all relevant documents for respective customers.
  • Willing to work occasional extended hours based on requirement.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:


  • Min. Grade 12 graduation. Bachelor's degree a bonus.
  • 1 year experience working in an office/ Transportation environment.
  • Transload knowledge and experience will be given preference.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
  • Good analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong organizational skills: attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, sound judgement & ability to resolve issues effectively and and reach out for guidance on sensitive matters.

Hours and Location:


  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 17:00
  • Terminal Location: Delta, BC
