- Manage safety software and conduct training.
- Lead incident investigations.
- Track safety metrics and oversee contractor compliance.
- Maintain training records and support WCB claim management.
- Support audits, hazard assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Graduate of a post-secondary program (minimum two‑year program) in OHS, Disability Management, or Health and Safety Administration.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional preferred; if designation not held, willing to work towards one.
- Three to five years of recent and progressive OHS/disability management experience.
- Experience using and managing electronic safety software.
- Current valid driver's license.
- Fluency in English (read, write, speak).

Salary: commensurate with education and experience.
Location: Shepherd's Care Administration Offices: AVE NW, Edmonton, AB
Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), the OHS Specialist works closely with the Manager, OHS and site management to advance the OHS and Workers' Compensation (WC) programs across the organization. In addition, the OHS Specialist develops OHS procedures and conducts training of employees in OHS processes.
