The
Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the facilities of the organization.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the administrative, maintenance, and IT support staff team.

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of tasks, including purchasing supplies, negotiating contracts and quotes, and coordinating day-to-day operations to uphold the overall upkeep of the facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and manage the administrative, maintenance, and IT staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure effective task execution.
  • Manage the procurement process, including purchasing supplies and equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts and quotes to ensure costeffective and quality purchases.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee daytoday operations of the Maier Centre facility.
  • Manage warranty work with trades and coordinate building maintenance contractors.
  • Ensure the overall upkeep and safety of the facility.
  • Assist the Director of Operations in the implementation of new program initiatives.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the successful execution of workshops, the Annual Conference, Gala, and Golf Tournament.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth crossfunctional operations.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects, objectives, and deadlines.
  • Experience with purchasing and contract negotiation.
  • Experience supervising and managing staff.
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other developmental disabilities is an asset.
  • Experience with a nonprofit organization is an asset.
