Description
'''Duties'''- Assist optometrist with patient care, including pretesting and preliminary examinations
- Perform visual field testing, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
- Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide support to front desk staff as needed
- Assist with frame selection and dispensing of eyewear
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Maintain inventory of optical supplies and assist with ordering as necessary
- Previous experience in an optometric or medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and optical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
Note:
Experience in pediatrics or retail sales is a plus.
Salary:
$16.75-$25.39 per hour
