Aramark is hiring a full- time popular Retail Food Franchise Manager to manage our Tim Hortons operations at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of one full-service Tim Hortons and two coffee and baked goods kiosks located throughout the facility.
The Manger is responsible for building a positive relationship with a team of unionized diverse members to ensure high standards, quality, cleanliness, and exceptional service are achieved.
The Manager is involved in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the operations to ensure team members deliver exceptional service.
Tim Horton's experience is not required, however it is preferred. If you have managed a Retail Food Franchise operation and had responsibility for scheduling, payroll, budgets, financial forecasts and food and labour costs, please applyResponsibilities:
- Lead our Tim Horton's team to ensure the operations adhere to operational needs and quality
- Compliance with Tim Horton and Aramark standards; Health & Safety and safe food handling
- Staff recruitment, scheduling, timecards, payroll input, training, staffing labour analysis
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment for maintenance and repair
- Conduct inventories, ordering, manage and analyze food and labour costs; wastage reports
- Work with Marketing Manager to launch initiatives and promotions of Tim Horton's products
- Collect, record and deposit all revenues received; accurate data input into Excel spreadsheets
- Compliance of all cash handling and cash auditing procedures; report overages or shortages

Qualifications:
- 24 years management experience in fastpaced retail food franchise is required
- Experience managing unionized employees and knowledge of collective agreements is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis, analyze food & labour costs; control wastage
- Experience scheduling staff, authorizing timecards, entering payroll and cash management
- Ordering and inventory processes; the ability to manage proper levels to avoid spoilage
- Effective communication skills to interact with staff and customers in this retail environment
- Ability to act with a "Customer comes First attitude" to meet and exceed expectations
- Maintain effective and lasting relationships with managers, staff, and patrons
