Building Operator - Mississauga, Canada - Allen Property Management

We are looking for Building Operator for Commercial Property in Mississauga.
We offer year-round employment and an hourly rate.

Building maintenance and providing excellent customer service. Monitor day-to-day operations and overall facilities to ensure efficiency. Conduct daily facility inspections. Perform basic facility and troubleshooting maintenance and housekeeping repairs of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Oversee operation of facility emergency systems for security, fire, power failure etc.


QUALIFICATIONS

Special knowledge and skills - Experience with HVAC systems, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems and electrical systems engineering and operation.

HVAC certified would be an asset.
Minimum of 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role

Must have ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30ft, possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
