The _Inventory & Logistics Coordinator_ will play a role in both the manufacturing and advanced paper system team.

This role will report directly to the Supply Chain Lead but this role is also accountable to the Production Manager, Shop Foreman and their designates.


Key Responsibilities:


  • All shipping, receiving and logistics for the entire company.
  • Execute and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping and receiving.
  • Packing orders, using ERP to complete packing lists, and communicating with third parties for shipping arrangements.
  • Communicating with third party vendors to arrange third party services.
  • Creating documentation and ensuring shipment meets requirements for cartage.
  • Communicating with customers and vendors to arrange shipments.
  • Unpacking and verifying orders against POs/orders for quantities, accuracy, damage etc.
  • Using ERP system to receive orders and note locations of placement in inventory.
  • Support coworkers, projects, customers, and vendors with flexible communication and customeroriented services.
  • Manage inventory including, but not limited to, ensuring locations and quantities reflected in ERP are accurate, organizing locations and placement of inventory, ensuring a system is created and followed by all to manage inventory, developing and evolving systems to manage inventory and consumable inventory.
  • Accountable for inventory; adding to inventory and removal from inventory.
  • Pick and pull parts from inventory for part sales, projects, shop builds etc.
  • Fully utilize ERP and be a champion for ERP utilization.
  • Execute and create SOPs for inventory management.
  • Complete other supply chain functions as required.

Requirements:


  • Use of MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Attention to detail and ensuring procedures are followed consistently.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs or use other means to assist lifting.
  • Able to operate a sit down counterbalanced forklift.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a crossfunctional team.
  • Selfstarter, able to find issues and constantly improve systems, processes etc.
  • Able to deescalate tense situations and negotiate to get agreement and buy in from all parties.
  • Proficient with ERP systems for inventory, BOM control, purchasing and receiving.
  • Logistics experience and familiarity with customs clearance in North America and worldwide.
  • Customer service experience.
