Tanner & Co. Brewing, Chester's destination brewery, is searching for passionate beer-loving individuals to help our guests have a memorable beer experience.

We're looking for hardworking folks that love to talk about beer, entertain people, and of course sell stuff.

Don't worry if you have no previous experience in a brewery setting; if you're passionate and willing to learn, we're willing to teach you.

The position is flexible and can be part-time or full-time, working primarily Wednesday through Sunday.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Greeting and interacting with guests and other team members in a friendly and fun way

Walking our guests through our different beer styles, providing information, and answering questions

Filling growlers, selling bottles & cans

Collecting cash through our POS system

Bussing and resetting tables in the taproom

Completing all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations (inventory, cash reports, etc.)

Occasionally working the local farmers market(s) and special tasting events

Assisting with some cellar duties (primarily cleaning)

General cleaning duties


Skills & Qualifications:


Excellent People Skills
Must be 19 yrs or older

Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work

Ability to perform efficient, quality work with mínimal supervision

Ability to answer visitor's questions and provide general tourist information about the local area

Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly to innovation and change

Ability to work different shift times, from early morning starts to the occasional late evening events

Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team

Dress per requirements, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times

Ability to lift kegs (60lbs) and stand for several hours


Education:
High School or equivalent (there will be some math involved)

Restaurant, bar, or retail experience preferred, but not required

$14.50-$15.50 per hour
