For the Buyer position, we are looking for a person who demonstrates the following characteristics:

Highly organized and able to maintain a buying schedule that can include thousands of sku's per manufacturer
Manipulate sales data (including seasonality) to help predict future stock requirements
Exceptional communication skills

What We Need

Description:

A buyer at HPD is expected to become an expert in our product lines and the inventory needs of our business so we can optimally service our customers.

The primary goal of this role is to ensure that we have the right number of Moments of Fun (products) in the warehouse at the right time at the right cost.

Responsibilities:

Using sales data and collaboration with the account managers to help predict demand for products
Maintaining an order schedule to our vendors to ensure a consistent flow of Moments of Fun arrive to our warehouse to delight our dealers
Working with others on the team to ensure items on our website has the correct information and pictures
Ensure PO's are up to date to provide our dealers with the most accurate information possible so they can make the best decisions for their business
Maintain communication with our vendors to ensure a successful partnership for both them and us
Help develop and maintain inventory budgets per manufacturer and overall inventory on hand

Required Experience/Skills:

Extensive buying experience of finished products for resale
Experience working in a businesstobusiness environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power BI
