Description
Project ManagerCan be located in Saint John, Moncton, or HalifaxAre you an experienced leader in project management looking to join a progressive company?
Our client is seeking a Project Manager in either Saint John, Moncton, or Halifax to take the lead on maintenance related repair and capital improvement projects on existing company properties.
Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, tendering, awarding contracts, overseeing project changes, provided regular reporting and cost tracking, and managing contractors, employees, clients/leaseholders.
Ensuring safe project work, and the procuring of any and all required project approvals, permits, or licenses is also required.
Occasional travel within Atlantic Canada will be required to visit project sites at company properties.
To be considered for this position, candidates will possess a degree or diploma in Engineering, along with at least 3 years of experience working directly with construction projects.
The successful candidate will also have a base of knowledge in building codes and relevant legislation, including Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential to this role. Due to the need to travel to project sites, a valid driver's license is required.An excellent compensation package is offered, commensurate with experience.
