Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Provide confidential administrative, operational, and project support to all of the Vice-Chairman and Team President (VCTP) professional work pillars
  • Toronto Raptors, Philanthropic Activities, and Special Projects
  • Assist in daily operations, including coordinating meetings and scheduling calendar appointments, travel arrangements (ex: hotels, air travel, visa, ground transport), expense reports, filing, reviewing correspondence to assist in establishing department priorities, and other general administrative duties as needed
  • Support Executive Staff with administration, operational tasks, and special projects as needed
  • Serve as the liaison between the VCTP and other internal departments and external organizations
  • As needed, participate as a proxy in business meetings taking detailed notes to share with the VCTP and/or Front Office
  • Provide onground assistance to the VCTP for most offsite meetings, appearances, and events
  • Attend all home games and provide ingame support to VCTP and Front Office Executives as required
  • Occasional travel within and outside Canada may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in administration, strategic planning, project management, and/or a related field, preferably supporting C-Level Executives
  • Demonstrated operationsrelated experience working in a professional, or semiprofessional sports club, with a desire to grow within the sports and entertainment industry
  • The ability and experience to work across multiple time zones and global stakeholders is an asset
  • Sound business judgment, including the ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Strong judgement and problemsolving skills combined with a proactive mindset to work/find/suggest solutions working with individuals at all levels
  • Technologically savvy and proficient with the use of smartphones, tablets, laptops and other tools
  • Extensive digital acumen, including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to liaise effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong editing and proofing abilities
  • Proven time management skills, with an ability to effectively establish and execute priorities in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Available to work frequently on evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
