Clockwork Systems Inc. is a rapidly growing company specializing in electronic security systems, CCTV, LAN/Data cabling and specialty low voltage systems.

We are currently seeking career minded applicants for our Field Services Team.

Technician 3:
Service and Installation Technician

  • Duties:_
  • 1.

Installation and Configuration:
_

  • Install, configure, test and maintain various low voltage systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, electronic locks etc...
  • Installation of conduit and cabling
  • Installation of equipment racks, cable tray, servers, network switches, video wall displays.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and replace/repair faulty components
  • Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Provide onsite support to optimize system functionality

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of system configuration, installations and service activities.
  • Read and understand construction (blueprint) drawings and system design documents.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure that all installation activities comply with relevant industry, company and client standards, regulations and codes.
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of materials and tools.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on completed installations to verify functionality and adherence to specifications and standards
  • Continually assess and improve skills and participate in continuing education sessions.
  • Collaboration
  • Exhibit professional appearance and conduct
  • Interact and communicate well with customers and fellow employees.
  • Supervise and assist in the training of less experienced technicians
  • Work productively as part of the team and adhere to a high standard of quality workmanship.
  • Qualifications:_
  • A degree or certification in electronics, electrical or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous electrical and/or construction experience is a definite asset.
  • Extensive previous technical experience in the Security Electronics Industry. Minimum 2 years direct experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skills with many types of hand/power tools. Types we use include drill/driver/rotary hammer, wood and metal working tools, electric bender, electric scissor lift, hydraulic excavator, boom lift/bucket truck etc.
  • Strong analytical ability and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Clean drivers abstract will have to be provided by successful applicants.
  • Must have (pass) a clean criminal background
  • Must be willing and flexible enough to maneuver safely through confined spaces and at heights above 10'
  • Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours

The electronic security systems industry is a diverse field of expertise with excellent earning potential.

We have a generous compensation structure that is based on a number of factors including experience, knowledge, competency and leadership.

This mid-level/entry position starts at $25/hr.
