As an integrated full-service firm, they guide public- and private-sector projects from conception to implementation. They are unique in providing design-intensive services that resolve complex issues such as land-use regulations, regional infrastructure requirements, or community development.

    Why This Role is Open:

    The firm is currently looking to add a Senior Architect to support growth and demand in Vancouver.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead a small team of architects and planners in Transit Oriented Development Design.
    • Develop an innovative development concept integrated with a new subway station.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Station Architects, Landscape Architects, and technical consultants.
    • Contribute to the development of project frameworks in collaboration with public and private stakeholders.
    • Manage and mentor younger team members as a senior team member.

    Must Haves:

    • 10+ years of experience.
    • Must be registered with the AIBC or eligible to register with the AIBC.
    • Experience in leading early phases of design for mixed-use projects.
    • Solid technical understanding of building construction including experience in high-rise mixed-use buildings.
    • Experience in multi-residential work in the Lower Mainland.
    • Exceptional design, communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Experience in Revit.

    Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience in public project procurement projects.
    • Experience in multiple typologies.
    • Experience with passive house and net zero design principles including energy modeling, daylighting analysis and life cycle assessment tools.
