As a Project Manager, you'll be an expert on the govService platform and a key partner in the successful rollout of software implementation projects across the United States. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for helping clients reach their strategic goals. Your role starts at project kick-off by providing the client with a project plan, oversight of discovery, and requirements gathering, and ensuring the client receives the appropriate training for their implementation – where clients are both enabled and encouraged to utilize the system to its fullest potential. You'll help clients update their processes – often weighing options that test the status quo. You are a highly consultative partner.

    What your impact will look like:

  • Manage small to large sized client projects and cross-product, platform implementations from start to finish
  • Create project plans aligned to client implementation goals
  • Discover and assess client business processes -anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Steer requirement gathering sessions, both internal and external
  • Write user stories ensuring acceptance criteria are clearly defined and verify it matches the requirements
  • Create test plans and facilitate user acceptance testing of custom-built services
  • Documentation – assist with the creation and maintenance of current and future state process maps, functional requirements, user interface requirements, etc.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and other relevant project documentation
  • Identify risks and mitigation – as early as possible
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and provide feedback to the team
  • Work closely with Process Designers (internal "builders") to advise on progress and ideate
  • Serve as an advisor to the client as they improve their online processes – keeping the client experience top-of-mind at every turn.
  • You'll love this job if:

  • You have 2 – 4 years of experience working in software/tech, specifically around project management, business analysis, consulting, client onboarding and/or training
  • You know process improvement and how to effectively apply it to the client's software implementation experience
  • You have experience working within an Agile framework
  • You demonstrate timely and thorough communication of strategy, deliverable status, and results
  • You have a proven ability to flex between the technical and business sides of your brain – engineers and cross-functional team members alike love to work with you
