Work environment:


Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) Environmental Enforcement Directorate (EED) ensures that companies and individuals comply with the laws administered by Environment and Climate Change Canada to protect the natural environment, its biodiversity and the health of Canadians.

Intent of the process:


The intent of this process is to fill two (2) positions of Administrative Assistant (BBB/BBB) and Executive Assistant (BBB/BBB) in Montreal and Quebec.

The job offers that may arise form this pool will be used to fill position for one year term contract with the possibility to be renewed and the firm intention to transfer to an indeterminate position.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency


EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in administration support
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote)
  • Experience in maintaining a budget or in assisting management with financial administration.

EDUCATION:


A diploma, degree or certificate from a recognized educational institution with acceptable specialization in office administration or other field relevant to the position.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working in a customer service oriented environment.
  • Experience in writing agenda and meeting minutes.
  • Experience using a financial management system (Ex. SAP).
  • Experience in travel planning.
  • Experience in contracting and procurement.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Availability and willingness to work overtime, often on short notice.
