Employer Services Lead

As Employer Services Lead, you'll be responsible for leading, planning
, organizing, resourcing, coordinating, and controlling your specific business unit to ensure that the requirements of the business unit, as set out by the COO Employment Services, and WCG Management are met.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the development of innovation services in partnership with Senior Employment Services management to meet local labour market needs
- Provide coaching, mentoring and support to service provider teams delivering within the catchment.
- Collaborate with local workforce development boards, economic development, and other employer stakeholder groups to develop initiatives to match clients with current labour market demand
- Create, build, and maintain strong and effective relationships with new and existing employers to generate on going, exclusive or ringfenced vacancies or supported opportunities for WCG participants.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Service providers and other local operational colleagues and appropriate external stakeholders to ensure that WCG's Service providers perform at the highest level across the contracts they deliver.
- Provide support to the Contract Management team to meet or exceed contract key performance indicators and service standards specific to employment outcomes and inclusion group participation in accessing opportunities
What you bring:
- A postsecondary degree, or diploma in leadership or business/management, preferred
- Strong background in employer engagement and employer engagement strategies to successfully move clients into work.
- Minimum five years combined progressive strategic leadership and contract management experience in the field of workforce development or employer services.
- Eligibility to meet legislative requirements for clearance to work in the Employment Services programs.
- Must successfully pass a National Police check.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in different locations and travel as required
