What's the job?
Responsible for daily management of multiple customer accounts, both external and internal, with a supply chain focus. Includes sales order entry and maintenance, communication with customers regarding order status, product availability, ship dates, etc.
The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with the Supply Chain team at our Head Office located in Pointe-Claire, acting as the link between customers and supply chain operations.
- Customer account management. Order entry, maintenance, and communication for multiple customers across multiple supplying plants.
- Daily validation of invoices to external customers
- Export order management and processing
- Monitor and follow up on open order report for Kaycan branches
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
- Maintain customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
- Address client inquiries regarding status of orders, payment, refunds, etc.
- Forward customer leads to appropriate sales personnel
- Backup other team members in Pointe Claire as needed
What do you bring?
Education/Experience:
- 35 years experience in a similar role dealing with customer inperson
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field desired
- Fully bilingual
- French / English
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate : Experience with MS Office is a must
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong team player with excellent customer service skills and able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
