Assistant Finance Manager

Location:
Saskatoon, SK

Opportunity

This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions but is not limited to:

Prepare month-end and year-end consolidated financial statements.
Assist in the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
Monthly variance analysis.
Lead, coach, and mentor the accounting team responsible for A/R and A/P.
Perform monthend and yearend procedures.
Assist in the annual audit process.
Oversee the internal control review and policies in conjunction with recommendations from the internal auditor.
Provide adhoc analysis to support projects and business decisions as required.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent business background.
3+ years of demonstrated expertise in a senior accounting position with comparable responsibilities.
Experience in leading and supporting a team would be considered advantageous.
Proficiency in US GAAP and familiarity with SOX Compliance would be seen as valuable assets.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities coupled with acute attention to detail.
A collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Proven capability to manage multiple tasks within a highvolume, fastpaced work environment.
