About us
Arrow is a general contracting company that specializes in Commercial and Multi Residential Construction. Clients include the City of Ottawa, Federal Government, School Boards, Ottawa Community Housing, and various multi residential property owners.


Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in human resource management
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships proactively with employees as all levels
  • Comfortable working in a standalone position

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Lead all Health and Safety initiatives and manage policy updates and creation in keeping with provincial legaslative requirements inclyding Workers Compensation claims and accommodation

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
