Job Description:


Position Overview:


Greentree Outdoor Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest level of quality in our landscape design and build projects.

The Quality Control Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and resolving any issues that may arise during and after project completion.

This role requires frequent site visits, warranty management, and conflict resolution skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Visits and Inspection: Conduct regular onsite inspections to ensure that projects are executed according to the design plans, meet quality standards, ensure the safety and integrity of equipment and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes to maintain and enhance the quality of workmanship, materials, and project deliverables.
  • Warranty Management: Oversee the management of warranties provided to clients and ensure timely resolution of any warranty claims, defects, or issues.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts that may arise between project teams, clients, and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships and uphold the company's reputation.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, project deviations, warranty claims, and resolutions, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with management, foremen, designers, construction crews, and subcontractors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to enhance project quality and efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to address qualityrelated concerns, provide updates on warranty claims, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to project teams on processes, best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Landscape, carpentry and concrete construction experience are important assets.
  • Proven experience in quality control and/or a senior role within the construction or landscape industry.
  • Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and construction techniques.
  • Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detailoriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to landscaping and construction.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

From $60,000.00 per year
