    Description

    Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is currently looking for a Carpenter Apprentice 3rd or 4th year, at our Acheson location. Reporting to Shop Foreman, this position is responsible for construction according to drawings by preparing layouts, materials, and assembly of materials as per best practice and/or specification. Day to day activities will include but are not limited to the construction/installation and maintenance of beams, floors, walls, roofs, exterior and interior finishing.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman Certificate or apprenticeship, non-ticketed 3rd and 4th year carpenters will be considered with relevant experience.
  • At least three years' experience as a carpenter preferably in residential, commercial, light industrial construction and renovation industries with a preference given to Camp/Mobile Accommodations experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with certificates in Fall Protection (OSSA), Confined Space (OSSA), Aerial Work Platform, Working at Heights, Forklift, Scissor/Boom Lift, Rigging and Hand Signaling, and Standard First Aid.
  • Experience with EPDM and Dec-Tec roofing installation
  • Carpentry production carpentry would be ab asset.
  • Good math and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience working with modular structures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lb. on a consistent basis.
