Your role
Join the team in Eastern Ontario as a Project Manager based in our Kingston office.

In this role, you will work with a team of experts who lead major capital building and infrastructure projects. Working with communities across Eastern Ontario. You bring previous expereince leading and delivering infrastructure projects that vary in scope and complexity.

You have become known as trusted advsior to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Demonstrate company values and cultural behaviours
Lead development of APMS on your projects
Delegate to and empower APMS
Build a personal brand

Growth:

Grow sales inside existing accounts
Find opportunities for crossline selling in accounts you manage
Grow your Fee Income Managed on your projects by 15% annually

Management:

Manage project delivery teams to deliver the quality required by the Client
Manage implementation of the work breakdown structure (DPM)
Escalate project delivery and commercial/financial issues to Project Lead

Quality:

Responsible for implementing all work on your projects is delivered in accordance with our Quality Management System
Responsible for Client Satisfaction

Qualifications:

7 + years of capital projects experience
A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or construction management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and experience working in a PMO environment
Deep knowledge of various design and construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, contract law and relevant legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective client, stakeholder and people management skills, matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of commercial, people, client and technical issues
Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, RA, or similar industry recognized designation
Experience on higher education, commercial and/or industrial projects is preferred.
