Commercial Underwriter.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with MIB Broker Partners and carrier underwriters (as needed).
Create and update new business & renewal submissions, and market existing business, if required.
Manage a book of business with a mix of small to medium commercial insurance accounts within an MGA/Specialty Market.
Negotiate coverages, rates, and premiums with insurance underwriters and MIB brokers.
Review inspection reports and follow up for outstanding recommendations (as needed).
Manage accounts receivable invoicing for the submissions you are handling.
Work closely with the claims department regarding settlements, if required.
Perform other related duties and projects as required.

What You Bring

Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a brokerage (specialty commercial focused) or similar amount of time within an MGA setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel
