Plumber Job Opportunity in Jasper, Alberta
We are seeking an experienced plumber to join our team in Jasper, Alberta. This is a permanent full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This includes reading blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, instructing apprentices, locating and marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures, cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes, joining pipes using various equipment, and testing pipes for leaks.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be physically capable of performing demanding work requiring bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads. You must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will hold a Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. You must also be willing to relocate to Jasper, Alberta.
