IT Support Technician

Mississauga, ON.


Your role within the team:


  • Process and update all assigned user incidents and service requests and meet established deadlines (SLA).
  • Provide technical support to users for problems related to the use of the company's IT systems.
  • Diagnose problems with computers or their peripherals and recommend or implement solutions to correct these.
  • Train the users in the use of computer equipment, software and other peripherals.
  • Perform workstation configuration and delivery according to established procedures.
  • Participate in user's relocation (unplugging workstations, reinstalling, configuring printers, updating client files).
  • Perform tests on new installation or deployment procedures.
  • Document user support procedures (writing simple processes and training documents) according to the established format.
  • Know the user support procedures specific to the various sites covered by the IT group.

  • Collegial diploma in information technology.
  • 35 years of experience.


  • Level II

  • Secret security clearance will be required.

Technical skills:

  • Base knowledge of the operating systems (and office suites) in use in the company as well as the installation and configuration of workstations and their peripherals.
  • General skills:_
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Analytical mind.
  • Good team spirit.
  • English (spoken and written).
  • Working conditions:_
  • May have to lift equipment weighing up to 30 kilos.
  • May have to work at other offices near the main office.
  • Occasional overtime work on evenings and weekends.
