- Diploma in Civil Structural Architectural Drafting
- 2+ years using AutoCAD for racking systems design
- Experience in custom racking parts design
- Familiarity with forklifts for wire guidance systems and custom racking interfaces
- Inspecting selective racking systems under a BC-registered Structural Engineer
- Knowledge of torque specs, clearance issues, and engineering requirements
- Skills in using a micrometer for racking systems identification
- Valid Class 5 driver's license for BC travel
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Products
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities

Job Summary:
We are at Arpac, leading the way in Western Canada for over half a century with material handling equipment and industrial storage solutions. Our focus on innovation and top-tier service sets us apart from the rest. Join our Delta Storage Products team as a full-time CAD Designer. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience designing custom racking parts and systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a diploma in Computer Aided Design.
A Typical Day:
As a CAD Designer, your role involves creating precise drawings and layouts for clients, as well as inspecting custom-designed racking systems on site. You'll collaborate closely with our Engineering and Installation teams to troubleshoot design issues and ensure industry standards compliance. Each day offers a mix of challenges and variety.
