    Description
    One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in St Thomas, ON .
    Shift - Days/Afternoon
    Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
    Conduct regular team meetings, provide training, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.


    Inventory Management:
    Oversee inventory control procedures, including receiving, storing, and issuing automotive parts.
    Implement systems to maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile any discrepancies.
    Monitor order picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


    Logistics Coordination:
    Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
    Optimize transportation routes and manage the scheduling of deliveries and pickups.


    Quality Control:
    Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of automotive parts.
    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in the warehouse.
    Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among warehouse personnel.
    Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
    Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and shipping/receiving activities.
    Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
    Foster clear communication channels within the warehouse team and with other departments.
    3-5 years of warehouse related supervisor experience (automotive).
    ~ Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
    ~ Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
    ~ Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
    ~ Familiarity with automotive parts and products.
    ~ Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
