Reporting to the Operations Controller, the Senior Operations Accounting Analyst will work as an integrated team member of the operations accounting team and be responsible for reporting requirements within the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company and team who are constantly seeking out ways to leverage technology to improve processes and deliver value-added information and analysis to leaders across the business.

The position is based in the Calgary corporate office with a hybrid remote work option.

We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote work and some in-person collaboration at our Calgary corporate office.

Validate cost and revenue analysis results for assigned departments.
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
Prepare segment financial reports and explain results to executive management.
Reconcile billing and cost information between the ticketing and accounting systems.
Team up with the sales department to validate billing terms on projects.
Investigate inconsistencies in project inputs and resolve with operations and sales teams.
Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Professional accountancy program (CPA) is required.
5+ years of relevant financial accounting or management reporting.
Knowledge and experience with public company reporting requirements and C-SOX controls.
System savvy – Oracle NetSuite experience.
Data analytics a significant asset, with strong MS365 suite skills.
