Under the guidance of the Franchisee, this position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the restaurant's dining room operations run smoothly and according to the policies, procedures and goals of the company and government employment standards.
The Restaurant Dining Room Manager will support the role of the General Manager and fellow members of staff to increase long term profitability through continuous improvement of team member morale, guest satisfaction and excellence in operations execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Based on job description includes but is not limited to:
- Front of house procedures
- Shift Management
- Providing associate Leadership and maintaining focus and morale
- Communicating with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Inventory management including ordering and counting
- Hiring, training and scheduling of associates
- All other key areas and tasks as required by the Franchisee
- Sales projections and goals
- Increase in profitability
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Must have some restaurant management experience.
- Previous experience in a fastpaced kitchen including knife handling, food safety, fryer handling and grill handling preferred but not required.
- Proven Leadership Skills; People development, floor management, company policies and procedures, time management, problem solving/decision making.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Initiative, Positive Attitude, communication skills, professional appearance/grooming.
- Excellent Work Ethic; Driven, Organized, Good Administration Skills, Dependable, Flexible.
- Must have Ontario Smart-Serve, Food Safety certified along with First Aid
