    Overview

    Join AZAD as a Business Systems Analyst and support the facility's Operational Technology Services Work Planning & Delivery organization. This position performs systems analysis, interfacing with users to support functional requirements development, analysis of tools and techniques to support the development of systems, troubleshooting, analysis, performance monitoring and improvement of systems used by the Operations functions. This position will work closely with the Project Manager and other BSAs who are working on the day-to-day deployment of major infrastructure and virtualization projects to ensure there is continuity and coordination.

    This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1-2 days weekly.

    The hourly pay rate range for this position is $ $72.00, depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

    The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

    A degree in Information Technology, Technical Management, Information Management, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science or a directly related technical discipline is preferred.

    10 years of experience is required with an applicable Associate's degree.

    8 years of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor's degree.

    12 years of experience is required without a degree.

    Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business systems analysis and progressively more technical in nature.

    Advanced knowledge of Visio and/or other flowchart tools.

    Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

    Experience in utilizing a requirements management tool.

    Expert knowledge in supporting full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle

    Expert knowledge in IT planning, functional and technical specifications, and system life-cycle (SLC) management.

    Experience Supporting Requirements Development, to include:

    1. Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops to elicit business requirements
    2. Research, analyze, model and organize information for developing requirements
    3. Decompose high-level information and abstract up from low-level information to distinguish solution ideas from business needs
    4. Facilitate requirements validation sessions and present findings to stakeholders
    5. Collaborate to resolve requirements conflicts between stakeholders
    6. Research, document, and validate current and future state processes and designs (functional and technical)
    7. Help define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business solutions analyses.

    Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

    Preferred:

    Experience in organizational change management methods and tools.

    Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
