Job Summary

What is the Opportunity?

The Manager, Sourcing (Procurement Sourcing Solutions Desk) will influence sourcing decisions and business outcomes, help deliver cost savings & cost avoidance efforts where opportunities exist.

You will support different lines of business for new and existing services under contract while the primary focus will be on execution for sourcing initiatives with varying degrees of risk and complexity.

As a Manager, you will have an outcomes based focused view that will center on providing cost effective, sustainable solutions to RBC businesses, and optimizing total value generated from RBC's supplier base.

Please note that the location for this position is Toronto. This position requires a hybrid working arrangement of approx. 3 days/week in the office

What will you do?

Negotiate and draft supplier agreements such as Amendments, SOWs, NDAs, EAs, TAs and MSAs in support of Procurement and business partner teams
Build effective relationships with stakeholders internally and externally (including executive level) by understanding key needs and dynamics across stakeholder groups, decision makers and influencers.
Crossfunctional calibration with extended procurement organization to optimize sourcing, negotiation, and overall execution.
Secures stakeholder support through buyin on sourcing execution decisions and outcomes
Analyzes complex procurement challenges and assist in developing solutions to best meet business needs.
Help to develop and implement sourcing process efficiencies by leveraging standardized tools, best practices and procedures

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Postsecondary education preferably in Business or Commerce
2+ years' experience in Procurement role including contracting and supplier sourcing
Strong Contract Acumen and analytical skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and superb time management skills
Detailed oriented and Strong critical thinker

Nice-to-have

Strong negotiation capability
Strong Excel skills
Financial Acumen
