Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Lead, Project Controls on a permanent basis on our Technical Services team at the Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.

If you have a passion in the development and execution of project budget and timelines this position could be for you.

This role will assist the Project Engineering team through reporting on actual progress versus planned progress for the successful execution of projects.

What you'll do:

Lead the Project Controls team of contractors in the development and execution of budgets and project timelines for an assigned portfolio of projects within the Technical Services Department.
Ensures alignment with the Project Engineering team leads for quality and consistency of work and deliverables.
Support the Project Engineering team through the identification of project controls deliverables, budgets, and control points.
Lead in the development and implementation of methods to effectively measure project progress and contractor performance based on size and complexity of each project.

You will lead a team of contractors and work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers and will report into the Superintendent, Project Engineering.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:

Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in engineering / technical, project management, construction management).
Are registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). Membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) as a Professional Engineer is preferred. PMP and/or AACE certification is considered beneficial.
Have 8 years' experience in industrial construction and/or maintenance field that required specializing in project controls (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.)
Are fully conversant with Primavera 6.
