What We Need:

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for supporting our utility clients with day-to-day billing and call center operations.


What You'll Do:


  • Oversee, track & process payment files (PAP, lockbox, web payments, cheques, EFT) daily
  • Complete daily collection processes
  • Perform batch checks & cycle validations
  • Manage service orders for collection and cashiering related requests
  • Answer incoming customer inquiries (both clients and general public)
  • Input or enter data through a manual or automated process
  • Manage reporting (Teleworks, consolidated usage, developer listings, customer counts, month end and year end reporting)
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly statistics for reporting
  • Update business process documentation and SOPs, as required
  • Participate in adhoc projects and other tasks that may be assigned

What You'll Bring:


Experience and Education:


  • Postsecondary education in Commerce, Accounting or Bookkeeping is desirable

Skills:


  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to function in a selfdirected manner in a team environment
  • Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • A strong commitment to customer and corporate objectives
  • Proficient documentation skills
  • Bookkeeping experience or other financial skill set is desirable

Working Conditions:


  • Hybrid office environment
  • A successful SIN and passport clearance along with a police vulnerability check is required
