What is the opportunity?

As a Financial Advisor at RBC, you have the chance to nurture relationships with high-value personal and small business clients, adding value when it matters most. Your role involves offering proactive, professional advice, working closely with RBC partners to assist clients in achieving their goals and significant life events. Your expertise as an advisor plays a pivotal role in boosting sales and client retention. Whether guiding a client on digital banking, proposing investment strategies for education funding, or advising on borrowing plans for future endeavors, your knowledge contributes to creating impactful and lasting client interactions.

What will you do?

Engage with clients to understand their needs and support them in reaching their objectives
Deliver expert advice and education, addressing complex credit and investment requirements for personal and business purposes
Collaborate with industry-leading professionals in financial and retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to provide tailored expert guidance
Utilize technology to enhance client experiences, drive sales, and maintain client loyalty
Take proactive steps to resolve and prevent banking issues for clients
Implement strategies to build relationships, attract new clients, and support community growth
Educate clients on the advantages of RBC products and services, including digital banking options

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Valid accreditation in Mutual Funds (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
Completion of the Certificate in Financial Services Advice from the CSI (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
2-3 years of successful sales experience in the financial services sector, focusing on credit and investments
Demonstrated skill in building trust and sustaining long-term client connections
Digital literacy across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops)
BILINGUAL MANDARIN AND ENGLISH IS MANDATORY
