We are seeking an experienced and self starting individual to join our company as a Production Scheduler.As part of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining Production Schedules maximizing effectiveness throughout all aspects of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements daily and weekly production schedules using UKG software while adhering to the Collective Agreement and relevant policies.
- Coordinates with the supervisors, managers and production workers to produce accurate schedules.
- Identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts according to operational needs.
- Ensure all company policy deadlines are met.
- Addresses scheduling requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly in a solutionoriented manner.
- System administration for HR and Scheduling UKG software
- Record keeping and data entry.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Professional Experience, Qualifications, and Competencies:
- Successful completion of a Business Administration Diploma and/or or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- 2+ years of scheduling experience. Scheduling following a collective agreement is considered an asset.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, excel under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage a diverse workload.
- Proven ability to display professionalism, excellent judgment, diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to solve problems creatively, individually as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

- The Salary Range for this position is $55, $82,500.00 depending on experience and qualifications.

Mercer Celgar is one of four pulp operations owned and operated by Mercer International Inc., producing pulp, bio-energy and bio-extractives.
Mercer Celgar is situated near Castlegar, BC, where we employ 427 team members who work together to produce approximately 500,000 tonnes of Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulp, enough eco-certified green energy to supply our own needs, plus up to an additional 20,000 homes and 250,000 litres of turpentine annually.
