Summary

The Industrial Cleaner / Labourer will be responsible for keeping the shops in clean and orderly condition, and will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, removal of old paint cans, changing garbage, disposing of waste material.

Duties may include cleaning snow, ice or debris from walkway and sidewalks, and maintaining yard cleanliness.

Job Duties

Maintains outside grounds (removes snow, ice, and debris).
Ensures garbage is picked up throughout the shop (inside and out).
Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions orally and in writing.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities in conjunction with the foreman.
Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
Able to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

Highly motivated and able to work independently.
Skid Steer experience an asset.
Forklift experience an asset.

Work Conditions

Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
Safety equipment will be required, e.g., steeltoed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, etc.
Overtime as required.
Dealing with hazardous materials.
Work both indoors and outdoors

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
