Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Procurement Advisor on a temporary basis on our Procurement team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; however, the position can be a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

What you'll do:

Using internal data analysis tools, prepare Category Management teams for strategic category negotiations and/or strategic sourcing projects.
Develop robust category strategies based on consumer and supplier dynamics.
Review data and category strategy to develop insights and recommendations to influence our negotiation approach.
Review, align and finalize negotiation approach with Category Team to ensure they are equipped for negotiations.
Prepare external communications and provide analysis of supplier offers.
Support business unit initiatives outside of the category negotiation process.

Who you'll work with:

You will be a key resource to support the ongoing category negotiation process and strategic sourcing initiatives, by providing targeted analytical support to Category Management teams.

You will work cross-functionally across the Consumer Products business unit with Category Management teams, the Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE) and other team members within Procurement.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

Have 3-6 years of relevant progressively responsibly experience in procurement and data analytics.
Have a bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics or relevant field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Are familiar with retail category management and analytics and retail merchandising analytics.
Are experienced in managing multiple projects.
Have extensive experience in Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools.
