Your Opportunity:


Reporting directly to the Patient Care Manager, the project coordinator is responsible for planning, executing and coordinating activities pertaining to the W1- Wait Times Project for the Pediatric Surgery, ENT, and Ophthalmology clinics.

Additional key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

project leadership-ensuring all operational aspects of W1 project are addressed and moved forward, reviewing and revising the project plan as needed, stakeholder engagement-supports internal and external stakeholders, and developing communication plans to keep the project moving forward This role is vital to the success of this project ensuring the goals and objectives set forth in the project plan are completed within the set parameters and in accordance with the established standards and practices set forth by the Stollery Children's Hospital and Alberta Health Services.

As a Coordinator II, you will require advanced or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within a department, program or business unit.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of connect care specifically the referral workflow. Strong understanding of Path to Care and the Alberta Referral Directory. Strong communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management certificate or diploma. Strong understanding of AIW. Change Management Certificate.
