Regional Business Development Manager and Strategy**
Outline:
Purpose:


The purpose of this role will be to educate the regional sales teams on the Sportsnet brand and our opportunities from a content, digital, social and features standpoint.

The Regional Business Manager will also be responsible for pricing all opportunities that go to market.

The regional sales team will gain a stronger confidence and knowledge of the Sportsnet opportunities and will therefore add more SN opportunities in their client pitches.

The Regional Business Development manager will also educate the regions on Sportsnet audiences as well as category opportunities.

The combination of education, awareness and developed opportunities will grow our regional and local sales and drive new business for Sportsnet.


Objectives and Accountability:


  • Build sales decks and opportunities specifically for regional sales offices.
  • Drive conversations that educate regional sales teams on all Sportsnet platforms.
  • Work with internal partners to help develop sponsorship opportunities for regions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and teams in various mediums and situations.
  • Excel proficient with ability to price linear TV and digital assets.
  • Lead working sessions with extended team.
  • Build strong relationships with business leads and project team members.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively across the organization.
  • Facilitate effective interaction across business units and functional lines of business.
