Job Summary:


  • The Clinical Implementation Applications Manager will primarily support the clinical teams and patients by developing workflow for the clinical teams to support rollout of additional functionality in clinical systems such as Noona. This role will develop complex workflow implementation related to projects such as the CAPTAIN implementation, the sharing of medical results with patients via Noona (such as lab tests, etc), and diseasespecific supports to ensure clinical teams are able to adopt them as efficiently as possible. The Clinical Implementation Applications Manager will work with the clinical team leaders to ensure the workflow is safe, efficient and effective and will provide support for the rollout of these new features. _
  • The incumbent will engage with clinical operations for the delivery of ongoing staff education, training and support pertaining to the use and system improvements. This role will be responsible for developing training content and assessments, assisting with ongoing training, and manage the evaluation of efficient and effective use of the systems._

Qualifications:


Education
- _Post-secondary degree in health sciences, medicine, nursing, health administration, management, or related from an accredited educational institution_
- _A post-graduate degree is preferred_


Experience
- _10 years_ of progressive clinical _experience _working_ directly with patients and staff, preferably within a related health care setting _
- _7 years of experience in developing and implementing clinical workflows, managing multi-disciplinary projects and implementations_
- _7 years of experience collecting, interpreting, and analyzing clinical information to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate clinical standards, pathways, and care delivery/service models_
- _3 years of experience influencing and collaborating with diverse, large, multicultural, cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams including management, partner service delivery organizations, patients and the public on implementing project initiatives, including developing business cases and analyzing data to support performance outcomes_
- _3 years of experience working as a member of a project team to implement clinical change_

  • An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered._

- _Ability to work independently and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams_
- _Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills that will enable the incumbent to facilitate training and present information at various levels within the healthcare system_

Physical Requirements
- _Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings at multiple locations throughout the organization, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg_
- _May be required to travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
Required Licenses, Registrations, Designations
- _Active membership in good standing with the Canadian Health Information Management _
- _Association (CHIMA) is considered an asset but not required.
Other
- _Direct clinical experience working within an Oncology clinical environment is preferred_
- _Must have satisfactory employment record_
- _Must be legally able to work in Canada _
- _Ability to speak French is considered an asset_
