Hiring Unit:
- Athletics and Recreation_
Position Summary:
- Reporting to the Head Coach Redbirds Football, act as Special Teams Coordinator and Strength and Conditioning Coach._
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach athletes to ensure proper technique, and progress/regress exercises accordingly.
- Communicate with the S&C coach, and IST members, to assist with program planning to ensure objectives are being met on a team and individual level.
- Aid in the collection, assessment, and analysis of athlete testing and monitoring data.
- Assist with the organization, cleanliness, and general equipment maintenance of the performance training spaces.
- Interact with and support department initiatives and/or attend events/activities as requested.
- Assist with the internship program by providing mentoring and education to students when applicable.
- Other duties as assigned by the strength and conditioning coach.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
BS in Kinesiology or related field.
5 years of experience as a Special Teams coordinator.
5 years of experience as a Strength coach
