    Description

    Adecco is looking for a Mechanical Process Engineer for a full-time permanent opportunity with a client in Toronto, ON. This role offers a hybrid setup with 3 days on-site.

    • Screen opportunities, conduct heat and mass balances, and estimate costs to create value propositions for clients.
    • Collect and validate key data to define project costs and savings.
    • Develop process designs and related controls for systems.
    • Size equipment and components for projects.
    • Prepare project documentation including drawings and specifications.
    • Support construction drawings and system diagrams.
    • Carry out field investigations and measurements.
    • Lead coordination meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
    • Manage project design and implementation.
    • Participate in site tours and oversee bid reviews.
    • Attend meetings, conduct site visits, and prepare reports.
    • Lead warranty inspections.
    • Manage project documentation and reviews.
    • Participate in commissioning efforts.
    • Review work for accuracy and provide guidance to team members.

    Requirements:

    • 10-20 years of experience in process and systems design.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
    • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
    • Professional Engineering designation preferred.
    • Fluency in French and English, with Spanish and German skills as a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of building codes and standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
