Description
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up the workshop and implement a system that will allow for both physical and system stock control, asset movement monitoring, and organized procurement.
- Supervise and provide technical support to preassembly, assembly and operations department personnel to ensure timely completion of preparation of cleaning and inline inspection tools and other equipment.
- Follow established equipment assembly and testing SOPs and special procedures.
- Ensure optimum tools & equipment condition by conducting regular maintenance activities
- Enforce the company's and department's work rules and regulations, and take disciplinary action as needed.
- Review monthly, weekly and daily plans and tasks and ensure the target dates are achieved.
- Ensure delivery dates for tools or spare parts as per Tool Preparation Plan.
- Review work orders and make sure delivery as per given target dates.
- Ensure lastminute material requests for standard parts are avoided (standard items: spring, Magnet, wheels, bearing, fasteners, etc.).
- Ensure tool assembly for the PTT / push through test / Final assembly are done based on tool configuration drawing.
- Make sure not to move the tool to testing setup unless all aspects related to tool assembly has been reviewed, verified, tools to be calibrated and ready for final assembly.
- Submit the PTT plan on weekly/monthly Basis to Data analysis, Quality and HSE.
- Ensure standard items will be available in store based on minimum stock figures, coordinate with purchase dept. to get all items needed for tool assembly.
- Deliver correct tool assembled based on design drawing, tool preparation checklist, deliver on time to QC.
- Use highquality standard Items in final assembly.
- Deliver cleaned tool: the tool body must be painted if applicable, assembled on tray, ready for shipment.
- Report to design section for any items used in final assembly which is different than design drawing or specification listed in design drawing.
- Arrange all material, items, equipment needed for tool assembly ahead of time before the assembly action started.
- To ensure testing spool is available based on commercial project requirements, Target WT and existing artificial defects are important to be verified with data analysis.
- Conduct test (PTT or push through test) for tools listed in tool preparation plan.
- To maintain the workshop in a neat and tidy condition in line with the HSE standards.
- To keep the PTT area, testing pipes and other equipment ready for pullthrough and pushthrough tests
- To provide training to new employees and continuous instruction for improvement and development to direct reports
- To execute all other tasks as requested by Regional Managing Director within the assigned job role.
- Execute all other tasks as requested by PIPECARE Executive Team.
Knowledge, skills & abilities required:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, OR related degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a tool and production related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas Industry
- KPIs:
- Budget adherence
- No. Of rejected outgoing tools/spares (not higher than 3%)
- No of rejected incoming spares/tools (not higher than 3%)
- 0 Human /environmental accidents in workshop
- Accomplishment of tasks in time
