The new role is part of our Human Resources team at the Glencore Copper Division regional office in Laval, Quebec.

The organizational development advisor will play a critical role in our employees' experiences at Glencore, by designing, enhancing and supporting the delivery of our talent development programs.


Key tasks in this role, but not limited to:

  • Lead the design of culture, talent management, employee experiences and career pathway initiatives, in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Elaborate our organizational development strategy and roadmap, including a detailed project plan to ensure we achieve our results
  • Facilitation of workshops to gather insights, feedback and recommendations from various sites
  • Building training and trainer facilitation material, including the design and update of documentation over time.
  • Working with external consultancy firms to design programs based on our needs analysis
  • Tracking and analyzing KPIs and proposing action plans for improvements related to our talent, including culture, employee engagement, succession planning and talent calibration.
  • Supporting other initiatives related to diversity and inclusion, psychometric testing debriefs

Specifically, the incumbent will be required to:

  • Operate within a dynamic work environment;
  • Work closely with a strategyoriented HR team and collaborate with teams in various locations;
  • Leverage your creativity and innovative ideas.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Certified CRHA;
  • Experience in consulting (an asset);
  • Experience in talent management or organizational development (68 years);
  • Experience in coaching and supporting teams;
  • Ability to facilitate trainthetrainer sessions and various workshops;
  • Ability to management multiple projects simultaneously, all while connecting the dots between various strategies
  • Knowledge of adult learning and humancentered design principles;
  • Understanding of the mining industry.

Additional Information

Travels to our sites in Quebec (Montreal East and Rouyn-Noranda) and occasional travels to our sites in the United States.


Languages:
Bilingual (English and French).
