Description
Independent Mechanical Supply has an opening in the Rexdale location for a full time G Class Delivery Driver. As a Delivery Driver at IMS, your main goal is the accurate, efficient, and safe delivery of customer orders. You'll deliver products to customers across the GTA.

The hours are from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and involves some heavy lifting of 50 lbs at the IMS dock and client sites.


Responsibilities:


  • Truck, load, and paperwork checks to ensure safety, security, and accuracy
  • Managing route and routines in the most efficient way possible
  • Compliance with all government and inhouse regulations and rules
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, observe and report any problems, damage, equipment or mechanical failures immediately
  • Complete a minimum of two daily runs (departing from and returning to the warehouse)
  • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public

Requirements:

- "G" Class License

  • Minimum 1 year of experience driving commercially
  • Clean driving record and ability to produce a current driver's abstract
  • High school diploma or equivalent
