Leasing Specialist (Full-time)


Reports to:
Manager, Marketing and Leasing


Greenrock is a third-generation family real estate business with over 50 years of experience providing expert asset and property management services, property repositioning, sustainability, development, investment management, and Family Office Services.

Greenrock owns and manages some of the most iconic multi-unit residential and commercial properties in midtown and downtown Toronto.


We are currently seeking a dynamic and professional Leasing Specialist to act as the main sales and leasing contact for our rental community.

The Leasing Specialist will provide exemplary customer service in marketing available rental unit, while fostering positive relationships with prospects, residents, and the wider community.


  • The roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: _

Customer Service:


  • Ensure Greenrock Communities are safe, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Conduct business with the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Maintain an overall focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with contractors, coworkers & service providers.

Marketing and Leasing:


  • Conduct appointment viewings, property tours and open houses.
  • Sell benefits of property and services to prospective tenants.
  • Qualify prospective residents, and actively promote resident referral program.
  • Inspect vacant suites, and upcoming availabilities for potential renters.
  • Identify and report suites in need of upgrades and repair work to Supervisor.
  • Communicate with Community Manager and residents to facilitate arrivals and departures.
  • Ensure all applicable data is recorded and uploaded to property management software.
  • Create and maintain online marketing ads for properties as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of competitive buildings and conduct quarterly market surveys of these properties.

Administration and Reporting:


  • Report tenant feedback to Community Manager.
  • Complete and maintain traffic report in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Register prospective residents using a _Guest Card._
  • Encourage applicant participation in preoffered methods of payment (online payments, submission of postdated cheques).
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing suite inspections and documentation as needed.
  • Encourage new residents to register and utilize resident portal.
  • Coordinate reservation of building elevators for moveins and moveouts.
  • Assemble and provide moviein packages to new residents.

Resident Relations:


  • Build helpful and supportive relationships with prospects and residents.
  • Acknowledge, address, and resolve resident concerns.
  • Monitor the status of outstanding work orders, by communicating openly with maintenance staff to remedy issues raised by residents.
  • Assist the Property Manager with planning and organizing resident functions and events.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum two years' experience in a customer service.
  • Background in hospitality, sales, marketing, public relations considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and social media marketing.
  • Yardi Voyager experience considered an asset.
