Position Description:

The hiring company is recruiting Roofing Service Technicians that will be working closely with the management team.

We primarily work with residential new builds, single family homes, and apartment buildings; providing service to roughly 1800 houses a year.

The Roofing Service Technicians will be responsible for completing daily tasks pertaining roofing installations and quality control. This position is based in Calgary, AB.

Key Accountabilities

Strong commitment to and background in customer service.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and capability of using smart phones.
Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritize work accordingly.
Strong ability to logically think through requests and problem solve.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including time management.
Ability to multitask and follow through on tasks.
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Performing daily site visits.
Completing quality control assessments.
Onsite material deliveries.
Perform emergency services.
Ladder assist for insurance adjusters.
Must be able to work effectively with Builders.
Effectively manage a list of jobs and call in for more work regularly.

Qualifications

Minimum Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing.
Experience in the construction industry.
Experience in roofing and leak detection with the ability to effectively trouble shoot issues regarding a variety of different scenarios.
HAAG experience (preferred not required).
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Must be able to meet deadlines, selfmotivate, be flexible, and a team player.

Pay:
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
